The Company

Since we began in 2021, we work to partner with a variety of organizations and clients in helping them find solutions to expert witnessing and consulting, management advising, and training and development of personnel. Michael Wagner founded the company with a vision to help organizations improve and provide support to those in need of a trained and experienced expert that can help them achieve their goals. The mission of ExBet Advising, LLC is to improve the organizations to improve the industries. Given the diverse background of experience, education, and work, Michael has a strong focus on helping clients that have work related to the snow and ice management industries, as well as fleet and transportation safety and management.

With various seasons, weather challenges, a growing economy, and the transportation influences, it is a centralized location in the country and is a progressive state in defining new regulatory activities and economic development. Owner and Advisor

Michael has a diverse background with experience is different industries and various roles and responsibilities. Michael started his fleet and snow career working with municipalities in public works and fleet departments with a focus on heavy equipment maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics. He has experience working with any on-road classification of vehicles, as well as heavy off-road machinery. After spending five years in public service roles, Michael transitioned to the private industry working for landscape and construction contractors, which also included a heavy amount of snow and ice operations work. Leading organizational fleets, as well as their safety and snow management programs has been at the forefront of his professional career. Michael has a great amount of energy and expertise towards these various responsibilities, and enjoys continuous improvement projects in always seeking better solutions and staying competitive.

In complimenting his experience, Michael has received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs (UCCS). He began his career in the automotive and mechanical industry by graduating from Wyoming Technical Institute (Wyotech) in 2008 and has enjoyed his career in the technical field. Throughout his time in school, Michael focused on business management and analysis, leadership, continuous improvement, and communication development. He has an extreme passion for developing others and organizations and bringing out the best in the people and the cultures of businesses. Aside from his education, Michael enjoys continuously developing his skills and knowledge and working to provide the best service to others.

Professional Career Highlights

Throughout his career, Michael Wagner has worked in fleet departments in both the public and private sector, with the additional growth to Fleet, Safety, and Snow and Ice Management. Beginning in technical roles diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles and equipment, he took on many professional development opportunities such as becoming double-master ASE certified in light-duty vehicles and heavy truck equipment. Expanding on this, he grew in his role and took on supervisory and leadership roles, and participated in committees and association opportunities through membership and education, to grow his skills and knowledge in these fields.

Once Michael obtained his role in the landscaping, construction, and snow and ice management industries, he continued his educational pursuits, as well as joining the board of a fleet management association called FleetPros. During this time, he has focused on organizational development, leadership, safety management, and designing training programs to develop the skills and abilities of others.

As time has passed and he has continued to grow in his roles and the industry, Michael holds the following positions with various associations so that he can continue to help those learn around him from experiences and the knowledge he has cained throughout his career.

What Michael strives for is to stay current with the evolving industries of Fleet, Snow, and Safety Management, to help stay on top of industry changes and challenges, as well as being able to help and educate others. With over 17 years of experience in technical and operational roles, and nearly a decade of leadership and management experience, Michael looks to continue his path as a lifelong learner, and continuing to assist others through his professional skills, expert witness services, and operational advising objectives.
